At Beds for Bunnies, you’ll find a purpose-built outdoor lodging within which are spacious 9 foot-long hutches and large guinea pig cages. Smaller furries are housed inside our home within their own cages. We are located in Yateley, 5 minutes from junction 4a of the M3 and on the Berkshire/Surrey/Hampshire borders.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL RABBITS must be vaccinated against myxomatosis, rabbit haemorrhagic disease and rabbit haemorrhagic disease type 2, within the last 12 months, and preferably 14 days before their stay. If you are in any doubt as to whether your rabbit has received vaccination against all three diseases then please consult your veterinary surgeon or send a photograph of your vaccination card to us to be checked. We will need you to bring your vaccination card(s) with your rabbit(s) at drop-off. We cannot accept rabbits without it.
Our indoor hutches are safe and secure and big enough to house up to 4 bunnies or several guinea pigs, if you have pets that live together. Smaller furries are housed inside our home within their own cages.
We feed good-quality hay and fresh water daily, fresh vegetables (some homegrown!), and your pet’s usual dry or pelleted food.
Accommodation
Your pet will stay in our purpose-built outdoor lodging (or inside our home if they are a small rodent). The hutches (suites) are luxurious in size and measure 9 feet long by 2 – 2.6 feet wide and are all named. Your rabbits or guinea pigs could be staying in our Gnaw Seasons, Rabbitson Blu or Bunlins suites... Or maybe they will prefer The Hayfair, The Savoy or The Carriott!
Each suite has a bedroom, litter tray, stool for hiding or sitting on, drinks bottle and bowl. We deep clean between changeovers with a veterinary-level disinfectant. If you would prefer to bring your pets own bottle/bowl/toys then feel free to do so.
In good weather, guinea pigs and rabbits have the use of a 7 foot run on grass during the day.
In cold weather we provide a heated SnuggleSafe pad, which is especially important for single pets who don’t have a companion to snuggle up to.
Diet & Exercise
We feed good-quality hay and fresh water daily, offer fresh vegetables (some homegrown!), and your pet’s usual dry or pelleted food. It is important to keep their diet consistent to minimise tummy upsets.
If your pet is on any medication or requires any nursing care or extra TLC then we can accommodate this.

Prices
Our prices are per day or part day (including pick up and drop off days), i.e. a one night stay is two days.
Price includes daily fresh vegetables, good-quality hay and bedding. We only stock Burgess Excel Adult with Mint rabbit food. If your pet eats an alternative diet, then you must bring enough with them for the duration of their stay. Sudden diet changes can cause gastrointestinal upset which can be fatal.
You can pay in cash when dropping-off your pets or make a bank transfer to us in advance.
Our suites can accommodate up to 4 bonded rabbits, depending on their size. Unfortunately, we can only take single giant breed rabbits at this time.
